ADVENTURE BIG BIKE

school is for those riders that have purchased a dual sport bike and don't feel comfortable riding off road.

There is really no minimum or maximum size of bike for this class so if you have a 200 or a 1200 you are just as welcome.

Class begins with a discussion of rider abilities and protective gear differences between the street and the dirt. Rules of the class and stretching before moving to the bikes.

A safety check will be done before we ride, ensuring proper suspension setup, tire pressures and setup of controls location setup for ease of operation.

Riding lessons will focus on:

• Proper standing posture
• Controlling the bike in different attitudes.
• Turning, braking, shifting
• Riding over obstacles, stopping on hills, riding hills both up and down
• Traversing hills will all be covered.

Coffee and donuts provided. (But bring your lunch.)

Who: Anyone over 6 years of age and who is interested in learning to ride Off-Highway Motorcycles, or improve their riding fundamentals. This course is a great beginning for students who plan to eventually move to street riding or racing.

What: 4-6 hour course (depending on the class skill level, weather and other factors).

Where: All classes are held at a closed-range-course within Prairie City OHV Park. The location is a 10 minute drive off Hwy 50 & Parairie City Exit in the town of Rancho Cordova

Details: Dirt Bike School is a hands-on rider training that emphasizes safety and skill development. During the 4-6 hour lessons students learn techniques for safely riding off-highway motorcycles. Students will learn the proper standing posture, the controls operation and location, straight-line riding, turning, shifting, braking, as well as riding over obstacles and riding hills. Students are encouraged to use their bikes and gear but are welcom to borrow necessary safety gear (helmet, goggles, boots, pads) and choose from a variety of dirt bikes that Dirt Bike School have to offer for the day. The pre-registered cost is $175 for students 6 to 15 years old, and $195 for 16 years and older. On Site the cost is $195 per student.
